This grate looks good and works well. It's the right height, so it allows for airflow underneath and space for ashes. Fits well in my fireplace, quality is great.

this seems to be a very sturdy grate. we purchased a steel one in the past and what a joke! don't waste your money. the only regret I have is I could have bought the next size up but that is my fault. it isn't that big of a deal so we decided to keep it. it is extremely heavy so be advised if you are weak in hands or arms you may have a problem removing it from the fireplace in order to clean it. great item and we hope we do not have to replace it form several years
