Bought the motorized rotisserie after husband got tired of manually turning our old one (a stick, admittedly). We decided to start with a bang by putting both a bonesless leg of lamb and a whole chicken on at one time. They both turned out great, but some things we learned: 1) be sure to properly truss a chicken (YouTube is your friend) before throwing it on there or you'll have legs and wings flopping everywhere. It also puts strain on the motor if the meat is not secured tightly. 2) previous reviewers' comments about using a heat shield for the motor are spot on - a disposable pie plate is all you really need. The forks wash up great in the dishwasher and it all fits nicely in the little carry bag.
