After fiddling around a bit I got the balloon to fit to a perfect seal. It has worked great for months now. I did notice that I needed to add more air when it got very cold, but other than that it has stayed in place and I have felt no drafts.

Speedy White Hearth And Stove Cleaner-22 Oz. Spray Bottle, Case Of 12

Expensive, but worth every penny! This cleaner is awesome for pretty much anything but I use it the most on my glass doors/windows. Wipes the grime and soot or whatever off really effectively. I like to leave it on for a few minutes before wiping it off, but it's not really necessary- that's just a weird thing in my head.
