Description

This mantel shield attaches to the mantel and allows a clearance reduction from 18" to 9" for stove pipe and from 36" to 18" from the t of an unlisted stove, per NFPA 211standards.

This Mantle Shield works great, but it could use an extra set of holes in the center-otherwise it sags in the back. It just needs additional support. I've added an extra hole and screw at rear in center and pulled it up level with the rest of the back edge.

Woodfield 304-Alloy Stainless Steel Radiant Fireback - 24" x 24"

I like the way this fireback reflects the flames. Very nice effect. It also does a good job pushing the heat back into the room- I noticed a significant increase when we installed it.
