A portrait-style fireplace fits flat into the wall, making it a good choice if you have limited floor space or have young children. A fireplace doesn't have to raise safety concerns or have a huge impact on the rest of your home decor.

The Loft Lux package is an insert that slips right into the wall and has a slick, modern white liner. The flames emerge from a central log, and you can surround it with fire glass in the color of your choice. It's a fireplace that doesn't look like an old-fashioned wood fire, and you can customize it as well! Don't be afraid to use your imagination when shopping for a fireplace.
