That vent-free character also contributes to the fact that the burner is 99% efficient, making it an excellent auxiliary heat source. There's even a built-in oxygen depletion sensor that shuts off the entire system if the oxygen level gets low, and the adjustable flame level helps you control the look and function of the unit.
