Magic Plastics manufactures innovative free-flow designed Check Valves that provides reliable back-flow prevention without the inline restriction of a conventional center poppet Check Valve. These are the Smart Check Valves and one of these is the Magic Plastics 0823-15C Smart Check 1.5" Union x Union Clear. With the use of high-powered magnets, the ???Smart" Check remains in the closed position to 2 PSI, opening fully when 2 lb. line pressure is exceeded. It is also equipped with a 1/2-lb. Spring-Loaded gate mechanism assures which allows the valve to be installed in any orientation. This particular product features a 1.5-inch Union x Union configuration with a 1.5-inch IPS size and a Clear UV Stabilized body.
