Description
The Roof Radiation Shield provides protection for joists where the chimney system passes through the roof. The Roof Radiation Shield is only required if the chimney is enclosed in a chase immediately prior to passing through the roof. If the chimney system is unenclosed before it passes through the roof, the Roof Radiation Shield is not required.
