Unicel SC3-SR50 Replacement Filter Cartridge for 52 SqFt Sta-Rite is made from heavy-duty polyester and is designed with more pleats to improve filtering capacity. This particular product has a blue open top end cap with a 4-3/16-inch inner diameter and an orange open bottom end cap with 12 concentric slots, 4-3/16-inch inner diameter. Its end caps are made with Tough urethane ensuring durability for the life of the cartridge. With an outside diameter of 8-11/16 inches and a length of 13-5/16 inches, it has a sharp pleat count of 195 folds that maximize spacing between pleats. The filter media is a 3-ounce Reemay 2040 Pool and Spa Filtration Media which is a spunbond or spunlaid polyester media which is used in numerous filtration applications due to its purity, strength, and quality. It has a filter area of 52 square feet which have more efficient filtration and better water clarity as well as a long time between cleanings. It can be used to replace 52 sq. ft.
