The Val-Pak V40-410 Aqua-Flo Dominator 2 HP Medium Head Diffuser is a replacement diffuser part manufactured by Val-Pak for the 2-horsepower Aqua-Flo Dominator Medium Head pump or also known as the AquaFlo Gecko Dominator pump. A diffuser functions by recovering pressure from the fluid velocity at the blade tips with each diffuser vanes increasing flow area to the liquid leaving the impeller which decelerates the liquid which then results to increasing pressure with minimal energy loss and this is ideal for pumping against higher pressures.
